  • #1 Wisconsin vs. #2 Ohio State did not disappoint, with a pair of 4-1 wins split between the two teams. On Saturday, the Buckeyes took control early and had the Badgers off kilter the whole game. On Sunday, the Badgers pushed back and looked to have found their footing a bit more. The end result is that the teams are fundamentally where they were entering the weekend, with Wisconsin atop the NPI and with a two point lead in the WCHA.
  • Congratulations to Northeastern for wrapping up the Hockey East regular season title. I definitely didn't see that coming at the start of the season and truly didn't think the conference would be decided before the final weekend.
  • Things continue to be delightfully messy in the ECAC. Yale and Brown both swept their weekends. Clarkson was swept, Princeton was 1-1 and Quinnipiac had a win and a tie. Princeton leads the conference with 44 points, with Yale two points behind at 42. Quinnipiac is two more back with 40 and Brown and Clarkson are tied with 38 points.
  • Lucky for us, this one comes down to the wire. It's the final weekend of regular season play. Travel partners Yale and Brown travel to take on Princeton and Quinnipiac this weekend. Clarkson will face Colgate and Cornell. That's all must-watch tv, to be quite honest.
  • NEWHA is also down to the wire. Saint Anselm is atop the standings with 49 points. Franklin Pierce is one point behind with 48. Assumption is also in striking distance with 45 points. The league has two weeks left and lucky for the chaos fans, Saint Anselm has two games with Assumption this week and two with Franklin Pierce next week.
  • It's the final week of the regular season for the ECAC and AHA.
  • Goals of the week:

As the tweet says: The setup, the finish. Alyson Hush with a great goal for UNH

Tic, tac, toe. First career goal.

The turnover, the stretch pass and the finish from Wisconsin's Cassie Hall

Sydney Morrow's shootout-winning goal is so good

Cara Sajevic forcing OT in that same game

Another first career goal, this time for Stonehill's Bella Sacca

A beauty from Yale's Hannah Weyerhauser

Moves before and after the goal from Brooke Mulvihill
