↑ Boston University attendance record – The Terriers are as good as they've been in years and faced off against rival Boston College (who are also ranked) and drew their biggest home attendance crowd ever as 2,866 fans came to Agganis to cheer them on. For context, last season BU averaged 651 fans per game. Now keep showing up, BU fans!

↓ Wisconsin – The Badgers suffered their first loss of the season as they dropped the second game of their weekend series at Ohio State 3-2. UW has had a habit of giving up early goals in their top-ranked matchups and then having to dig out of that hole. It worked two of three times so far, but I'd imagine their staff don't want to test the odds there.

↑ Milestones – Abbey Murphy crossed the 150 point threshold. This won't be the last scoring benchmark she passes by a long shot.

↓ St. Cloud State – After showing out against some of the top-ranked teams in the country in the early weeks, the Huskies were tripped up by Minnesota State, giving the Mavericks their first conference win of the season and then needing overtime to salvage some points on the weekend. SCSU was flat on Friday and MSU was primed to take advantage. St. Cloud has to regroup and refocus and remember not to take any game for granted. They dropped two spots in the polls and probably did some damage to their NPI calculation.

↑ Sacred Heart – While LIU and Franklin Pierce, the second and third places teams in NEWHA, respectively, beat each other up a bit this weekend and split the points, the Pioneers earned all six points and put themselves firmly atop the standings, two points ahead of LIU and six points clear of FPU.

↓ Special teams and penalties – Syracuse is the only team in the country averaging double-digit penalty minutes per game - they lead the nation with 10.23 minutes per game. They're also one of the worst penalty-killing teams in the country (38th of 44), killing just 75% of them. For all their highs so far this season, Brown has massive room for improvement on the PK - they're the worst team in the country, giving up goals 43% of the time! Seven teams have a power play conversation rate below 10% - St. Thomas, Minnesota State, Saint Anselm, Maine, Harvard, St. Michael's and Assumption (who bring up the rear having scored twice in forty opportunities, for a 5% power play).
