NCAA Women's Hockey: What to Watch, September 20-22

NCAA Women's Hockey: What to Watch, September 20-22 by Nicole Haase

With the reboot, VP's NCAA coverage will look a little different. Instead of a weekly post jammed full of information, expect several pieces spread throughout the week that recap the action, give accolades and provide readers with recommendations on what games to tune in for with links on how to watch them. That will start

(7) Minnesota Duluth at (1) Ohio State

Saturday at 2:00 PM and Sunday at 3:00 PM Eastern
Watch:
Paid stream on BTN+
(Note: BTN has removed all subscription options except a yearly fee of $89.99 or a monthly charge of $12.99)

There are just two games to open the season and the returning national champions start with a bang, hosting Minnesota Duluth. Both teams saw a lot of turnover this offseason, including the departure of UMD coach Maura Crowell. It will be interesting to get the first collegiate looks of the Buckeyes' Josie St. Martin and Mira Jungåker and the Bulldogs' Caitlin Kraemer and Reese Logan

(11) St. Cloud State at Lindenwood

Saturday at 6:00 PM and Sunday at 1:00 PM Central
Watch:
Paid stream on FloHockey
(Note: FloHockey is $150 per year or $29.99 per month)

St. Cloud gets an easier start to the season, though I do think Lindenwood looks poised to be much better than they've been in recent years. The Huskies had a rough second half and will be looking to rebuild momentum and confidence.
